There's some sort of scourge going around, slaying all that get in its way. Turns out I picked it up at some point while in Chicago. If you have it or had it you know what I mean. If you haven't gotten it yet pray to your deities that you do not. It starts out mild, just a little fever/achiness, and then you feel better the next day -- is it possible for viruses to actually taunt you? Because then you wake up rampantly sick, on your birthday (okay maybe not but I did) and are miserable for two or three days. Then you might feel better again for a day, but go to bed and cough so hard and so much that you can't fall asleep in spite of all your most fervent wishes. Then you feel better again after sleeping in until 2pm.
I fully expect this thing to come back and knee me in the balls tomorrow. It seems too much to hope for that I might be mostly better by the weekend. Seriously, can viruses taunt you? Is there a Borg collective/hive mind thing going on? Because it feels like.
